I have a 4500 and I use it for jumps, basically free riding, but my shocks aren't as big as I want them, so Im looking for some big shocks that are cheap, used. Thank you

  1. i would just go to a local bike dealer and c wat he thinks

  2. Those forks are way too big for your bike, large forks like those will change the geometry of your bike - higher standover height, different headtube angel, different seat tube angel, ect.

Your bike is a X-Country and wasn't made for jumping and it definitely wasn't made to take longer forks like those. The longer forks will add extra stress to the head tube and probably break it. If you have any warranty on your bike it would be voided if those forks were put on it.

If you want bigger forks I suggest that you get a bike with a frame that is built to handle them.

  3. honestly dude if i were you i would go with some asics because shox make your back hurt because it raises your heel putting more pressure on your back. but if you really want shox, go with some that are comfy, dont worry about style. :)
