  1. i prefer nike.

  2. I like nike too.Like the air max, light comfortable and has a good  permeability.I have bought several pairs at www.features-clothing.com,cheaper than nike.com,and quality is also good.

  3. Since you're running on concrete and asphalt, you're going to need max cushioning.  You gotta buy your gear to match the worst surface you'll train on-concrete would be that surface.  In my experience, most "trail shoes" don't have the cushioning for these surfaces.  But that just me.

At 40 miles/week, your shoes will wear out in about 6wks so be ready to replace then, or when you start feeling a twinge in your joints you didn't feel before-a clear signal you aren't getting the cushioning effect anymore.

  4. I would say by a good trail running shoe.  But do some research.  Some trail shoes will wear out faster when running on roads.  I personally like the Brooks Casscadia.
