Question:

What kind of shoes would i use...?

I'm going to a different school next year and going to be running on a weird track. The track looks like asphalt but when I got down into a starting position from blocks, it felt a little squishy but still a lot harder than your average rubber surfaces on a track. Right now I use 1/4 inch spikes, but what would I use on this new track? Would I just use my spike shoes without the spikes? Regular running shoes? 1/8 inch spikes or what? I run the 70m dash, 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash and I do long jump.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help!

  1. for that kind of track you want a shoe with more support.

regular sprinting shoes will wear down easily, so try these:

i have these exact shoes, and i love them. they're great for mid-distance to cross country level, so they won't wear out easily.

i wear these when i do the 400m dash and long jump, and they help alot! =)
