  1. mossberg 500, pump action

  2. winchester super x3 turkey shot gun you can buy it for 1200 dollars and it includes a scope here is a link to buy it

  3. I use a 12 guage pump for turkey and a bo;t action 12 guage for longer range shots ( the barrel is 36 inches. )

  4. Check out the Mossburg835 pump chambered for 31/2in. Has interchangeable choke tubes. I use an undertaker-x*x with 31/2 #6's on turkeys. Makes a h**l of a goose gun with I/C choke tube and loaded with 31/2" BBB or steel T's.

  5. When my state allowed rifles, I used a drilling. Now, it's shotgun only, so I use a Bernardelli SxS, complete with sling in the European style.

If I were on a budget, I'd probably go with the Remington pump.

  6. Get a 12 gauge pump.  Make sure it's chambered for 3" shells, and has a barrel for interchangable chokes.

  7. Remington 870. Great gun. Don't forget your turkey choke. I'm not sure about the price since everything has been going up lately. You might be able to get the combo (w/ slug barrel) for under $500.

  8. I have an Ithaca mag10 and a Beretta Extrema2.   When I get the Beretta to shoot as well as the Ithaca I will switch to it.    Under $500 I would probably get a Remington or Mossberg 3 1/2 inch magnum pump.
