What kind of skin care?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and am using Clinique (used to work for the co) for my skin care. I am combination skin, and the clinique is just not doing it for me anymore (I am not breaking out or anything, I just feel like my skin is dull and it doesn't feel "good"). since I used to work for them, that's pretty much all I know. What skin care do you recommend that is safe to use during pregnancy that is good for combination skin?

  1. no peroxides or acids are safe during pregnancy. see a dermatologist, there are a couple of safe topical solutions during pregnancy.

  2. When I started trying to conceive I started to go as all-natural as possible.  I only wash my face with organic olive oil soap and for a moisturizer I use a dab of olive oil.  I know what you're thinking but the oil doesn't leave a greasy film at all and with me, my skin would start to get a bit oily later in the day and this has ceased since I started using the oil instead of regular moisturizer.  It's cheap and you can find the soap at any store that carries organic body care products.  I use KissMyFace olive oil & honey soap and love it.  I use to only use expensive products and I actually can't believe the change in my skin since I switched.  Give it a try!

  3. I use Proactiv just as a daily maintenance though my skin isn't bad. I think it feels wonderful... and my ob told me it was ok to use during pregnancy.
