Question:

What kind of small insect is this? tiny,black, small wings, looks like ant, flys on you and bites?

I'm in north florida, out back and sweated up from high humidity,and this thing likes to get on the back of your neck, and near the top of your arms by the shoulder, and bite like an ant bites. For a tiny thing it sure makes you notice it, but it is easy to catch and mash.

  3. It may be wing ants,some species get wings during this time of the  year.

    they fly around and sometimes bite.

    it cannot be bees as bees should leave a sting and the area will become sowllen for atleast 1 whole day
