  1. Chinese Water Dragons

  2. Leopard geckos, House Geckos, Crested Geckos, Fat Tailed Gecko, Tokay Geckos, Madagascar Ground Geckos, other types of geckos, Anoles, Long Tailed lizards, and Blue Tongued Skinks.

Bearded Dragons and Chinese Water Dragons are medium sized (get up to two feet). Despite not being as small they also made great pets. They're pretty much as low maintenance as the lizards I listed above.

If your interested in amphibians get salamanders and newts (I recommend Emperor and Fire Belly Newts). They aren't really lizards since they're amphibians, but they are very similar.

  3. Hello; have you considered a Leopard Gecko, a Crested Gecko, a Viper Gecko, a Gargoyle Gecko, or an African Fat-tailed Gecko?

All are nocturnal so they don't need UV lighting, low maintenance, docile, small, interesting looking, do quite well with handling, and I am not sure how many reptiles you have previously kept, but the African Fat-tails, Vipers and the Leopards in particular make great starter lizards. :)

Here are care sheets for all of the Gecko species I just named:

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions at all on the subject or would like more suggestions on a good lizard species; please feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to assist you. :)

Good luck on your lizard search!

  4. Anoles, skinks, fire bellied toads, green tree frogs.

    Hope I helped:]

  5. anoles,curly tails,fence lizards,skinks,,,there`s a few.

  6. Anoles are cool, but kind of boring. Don't need a lot of work, either. Cheap, too. Bearded dragons require more care. Don't just buy one because you want something cool looking, please.

  7. depends on what you can spen becuase anoles are like 10bucks plus the setup which is like 100 probably then skinks can be big and expensive depending on what kind it is then you got leopard geckos which cost 200 with everything so i suggest buying what you can pay for just dont buy anything thats hard to take care of i suggest a leopard gecko or an anole depending on which one you have money for

alternative: i say u should buy a snake though instead becuase there easy to take care of dont eat much and are just plain fun but if u must get a lizard who am i to stop you

  8. leopard geckos are the best. House geckos and anoles you can`t really hold and are fast. water dragons get 3 feet. Crested geckos are make good pets but they are bit more skiddish than the leopard geckos.

  9. leopard geckos are easy i got one for my 7 year old son and he takes care of it.

  10. Leopard geckos are a good choice, pretty and low maintenance. Anoles are good too, though. If you want a more exotic low maintenance lizard, then I'd choose a chameleon.
