What kind of snake has a red back, white belly with black markings?

I live in NE Florida and have now see two snakes that look like this:

red back, white belly, black designs on the back that extend down its sides to its belly? The designs are almost diamond pattern, but I am pretty sure it is not a rattlesnake. I have researched this online but can't find a snake that looks like these.

  1. Sounds like a corn snake.

    Their coloration varies a little bit from place to place but all roughly the same.
