I'm just curious, it's about two feet maybe a little less, and it's pretty small around i would say maybe 3/4 inch, if that. It was found going around a corner in my apt and hid under the dishwasher. I live in Lima, Ohio and I thought this was weird to see. If anyone could tell me what type this is, that would be great.

  1. i would get that checked out if i were you because there are 3 that you explained i will list them for you so you can check it out:California Mountain Kingsnake, Long-nosed Snake, and one that is most likely not the Gopher snake

  2. look up baby banded california kingsnake and see if that matches what you found...it was probably someones pet.  if that is what it is you might go apartment to apartment seeing if it belongs to anyone...if that fails take it to the landlord and see if they know who owned it.  go to the landlord last though just in case someone smuggled it in.

  3. I don't know of any snake in Ohio matching that description. You can go to google.com and search for "Ohio snakes" and you'll find pictures of all snakes in your state. The description sounds like a California kingsnake, so maybe an escaped pet.

  4. california kingsnake, it was probably someone's pet.
