What kind of sofa material is good to the family has dogs? leather? ?

If you plan on letting the dogs on the couch I wouldn't get leather-it will be easily scratched.  That's alot of money to pay for something that is gonna get messed up.

I just have a regular couch.

~ we have 4 dogs. Our sofa is denim. I decide on denim because I knew how to clean it lol. The sofa is 6 years old. And now just looks like a faded pair of jeans. Fur vacuums easily off. My Hubby has a leather chair also bought the same year, and well the scratches give it a very used look lets say.

I love my microfiber couch - I have three dogs and all you have to do is vacuuum it and wipe it down - it is pretty much stain resistant if you have it treated too.Plus you can spot clean it easily

I hear that micro fiber is suppose to be really good.
