What kind of sound system should i get for my 05 honda civic?

i just got this car. it is an 05 honda civic lx coupe. it has the standard system...one cd, radio....

i'm clueless as to what everything is called or what i want even. i just know i want some good subs and....thats it.

needs to sound good.

i don't wanna spend anymore than like 300-400 dollars on it. its a christmas gift to myself. lol.

For that kind of money you're not going to get much. You can stop in to your local shop and ask about their specials, but I doubt they'll be able to do much for that amount. Maybe a single sub and small amp. There'll be no down the road bass, but at least it will sound better than factory.

And don't expect anything to "sound good" for that money. Be prepared for "sounds a bit better". lol

jus buy some pioneers, from walmart if you don't wanna spend a lotta money, and a little amp, and have it installed, and possibly upgrade to better "EVERYTHING" in the future.
