  1. Mexican

  2. INDIAN

  3. That's hard to answer.  It depends what I'm in the mood for... If I want something with deep flavors, I would go Indian, but if I want something that is going to make me sweat and cry, then I would do Mexican with lots of Jalapenos on it.

The thing that people need to understand is that typical Mexican food is not spicy hot.... they use a lot of cumin and chili powder, and those are really smoky flavors.  The hotness (Jalapenos and such) are mostly used in the states.

  4. Both are wonderfully diverse with lots of overlap. While I can't think of any Mexican spices (is cheese a spice?) not found in Indian cooking, it seems some things like fenugreek, cumin, tumeric, corriander, curry leaves, asafetida, are more widely used in Indian cooking. I think much of the Mexican food I seem to get is crippled by the chefs' attempt to pander to a generic audience. When all the tropical spices and herbs available are used Mexican food is fantastic-think mole and birria..

  5. I'm about to be a chef, so, i use Indian and Mexican spices both. BUT..... The Indian spices are so many that we can't name them (Curry, vindaloo, etc)

In Mexican spices we have more than 15 types of chiles (Ancho, bayo, pasilla, de árbol, etc)

Why don't you try to mix both and see what you get?

That's the fusion cuisine. TRY IT!!!!!

  6. Indian spices

  7. Indian Spice ofcourse, its got soo much variety...besides, Indian spices are also considered to be of medicinal value, like the herbs, turmeric powder, etc...

  8. Mexicans spices are lighter to the stomach than indians
