What kind of spider is black with white diamonds on its back ?

i found a spider in my room. its black with white diamonds on its back. i just wanna make sure its not dangerous. i live in ontario canada.

omg I found one of those in my kitchen on Friday....it was big...I killed it and threw it out....i dont know what kind of spider it was but it looked like it bites....

Don't be so sure. Spiders are usally some danger. I think you guys have stumbled over immature Northern Black widows. I say immature because of the white spot. As they mature the spot gets more red. Guys be careful if you don't know what your handling. Rember the curious cat didn't make it. Do you want to be like him?
