What kind of spider is this...?

I found this spider in my Toronto house a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone know what kind of spider it is? It is black with white, about the size of a nickel and isn't hairy.

It looks like a black and white jumping spider, otherwise known as salticus scenicus.
