What kind of spider might this be ?

what kind of spider, MIGHT this be.....was in our office.?

we live in Illinois..... the front 2 legs were black as night, but the rest of the spider was brownish / orange, and i think the body may have had lines down the middle of it IT WAS PRETTY big..NOT LIKE TARANTULA big , but much thicker than normal office / home spiders. any ideas

sounds like either a wolf spider, or a hobo spider

if it was a bright-yellowish color with black lines on the "back" it is possible it could have been a 'banana spider', but can't

really say without a picture.
