Cricket is played with a bat and a ball. 11 players on the each side and where you post the fielders has a specific name for the position like first sleep, gully, squirreled and so on. The guy who throws the ball is called bowler and he bowls six deliveries at a time then the next bowler takes over to bawl to the second batsman on the other side of the crease. You may get a batsman out by catch, run out, lbw or clean bold when the ball uproots the stumps or knocks out the bails. Each time a ball crosses the boundary line the batsman gets four runs and if the ball crosses the boundary line without hitting the ground then it's a six run. There are so many other details about cricket that will take awhile for anyone to fully understand the game but cricket is a magnificent sport and once you get in to the game, you will know what you were missing out. Trust me.

cricket is an interesting game.it involves 2  teams. Each team has eleven players(extras apart to replace anyone who is injured)one team bats and the other bowls. It is played on a long pitch. Each team has a captain.the captain who wins the toss decides whether he wants to bowl or bat first.its all bout making runs. there are 50 or 20 overs .in each over a bowler bowls 6 times. when he throws the ball the batsmen have to hit the ball and make runs.The more the runs better the score.There r many ways by which a batsman can be out like bowled which means a bowler has hit the wickets behind the batsman.after one team bats and gives a target then the other team bats and tries to achieve a score more than them.The team which has the higher score wins the match.

Nothing like baseball at all! The yanks just thought that up coz they envied us our cricket. Cricket is the best sport ever. A team consists of 11 players, batsmen, bowlers, a wicket keeper & specialist fielders. Their batting pitch is 11 yards long with a wicket (set of three stumps with bails on top) at each end.Bowlers bowl alternate overs(6 balls) from each end. If the ball hits the wicket & dislodges the stumps, the batsman is out. There are a few ways you can get out, such as LBW, caught, bowled, run out etc. In ODI cricket ,the match consists of 50 overs per team, in test cricket, unlimited overs played over 5 days
