What kind of spray is good to kill spiders?

Whenever possible relocate spiders to the outdoors where they will not bother you.  If you must kill them you can mix 3-4 tablespoons of liquid soap in a pint of water and use an old spray bottle.  This is safe to use around kids and can also be used on insects that are where they are unwanted.  It usually takes a few minutes to die, it suffocates them.

Maybe Peppermint Oil.  I know it kills ants and gnats!  And it's harmless.

please don't kill spiders.  We need them. They help regulate the smaller bugs that kill our vegetable gardens and fruit trees. And it's bad luck to kill spiders as well!

Spiders are far more beneficial than they are dangerous. The benefits we realize from spiders preying on insects, mites, and other spiders far outweigh the low potential health hazard to humans.
