What kind of stone would be best for building my cabin with?

Also do a lot of stone quarries give pallet deals?

  1. Best is probably relative. Certainly one might assume BEST would be enough stones on a piece of land to haul to a site, for building in just expending the effort.

       I have no clue of Quarry deals, nor might anyone here not knowing your location, or intent on size, access, etc.

       Granite, being the "hardest" stone on the planet. might be ideal, but probably not A DEAL, in any way milled, or crumbled in any size to use for cabin building.

       Even sandstone, or Limestone could work, but still, so much depends on a quantity, access, budget, then,,,ability, design, method of construction, etc.

       Then might be a consideration in your cabin design, and just using whatever rock, to Face it all around, after constricting it of wood or block.

       It seems difficult here to offer more than general ideas.
