What kind of storage device should i use for recording vids for youtube. What do i use instead of an SD card?

I want to get vids to youtube and am looking for a digital video camera. I used an SD card camera but had horrid results. What should i use?

It's a little more expensive but get an external hard drive.  You can store all your stuff on there just like storing stuff on your regular hard drive.  

Thats what I do for the videos and stuff I create.

i think a mini dv camera will be more versatile than anything else. you can record near-broadcast quality vids - shoot in HD (if you have the money for it) and it'll down-convert to 320 x 240 (youtube res) easily.
