Same as there are in other countries:  department stores, couture fashion stores; butchers, bakeries, delicatessens, fruit and vegetable shops, markets selling just about anything, etc.

they have reasonable shops, i suppose: H&M, Reds, and some other weird ones...

The same ones that are in the United States!  H&M is big over in Europe.  I also saw many Prada stores while I was in Italy
