What kind of store can you buy stun gun tazers at? and whats the best voltage?

I want a tazer for self defence. where could i get one? and whats would be the best voltage? I looked at stun gun on ebay that was 1.6 million volts but i kind of want to buy mine in a store.

Before you go out to buy one I suggest you do some research.

A higher voltage is not necessarily better. 50,000 volts is enough. Tasers are illegal to buy and illegal to have unless you are issued one through the military or the police in special cases. A stun gun is legal in some states but is much more likely to kill someone than a Taser is due to it's higher current output. Also using a stun gun can be ineffective or even dangerous to yourself because it is short ranged and can be used against you by the assailant if they get past it.

So I would advise you to learn some self defense instead using your hands and feet and the best self defense is to stop a serious confrontation before it starts.
