What kind of stores are there that buy and sell items?

I have items around my apartment that I either bought in the past or they were given to me as gifts. I want to sell some things in the hopes of getting some money. They're not really valuable items.

I don't want to use ebay because I don't know how much money to ask for and I don't have money to use their people nor to ship items.

I also don't want to use craigslist.

Also, I live in an apartment so a yard sale is out plus I don't have that much to get rid of.

  1. plato's closet, good will, pond shops,

  2. Well, where I live we have a pennysaver free newspaper that gets mailed to our homes free, You could try and advertize in your local free press. Our pennysaver does not charge for anything sold under $50. If you wish to get rid of some of your stuff without selling it...www.freecycle.org...it's a place to post your free items so as to keep them from being trashed and going into landfills. I like freecycle.

  3. consignment shops for clothes

have an apartment sale..like a yard sale but indoors

antique store will sell old things on consignment

put an add up in the supermarket or post office of the list you have and people will call you.

show them to friends and talk them up...maybe get a sale that way.
