I have the Klutz friendship bracelet book and ran out of string. Where can I buy more and what kind do I get?

  1. I think those come with embroidery floss.

Check craft stores, or the craft section of discount stores.

You'll probably find a great selection of colors, even some metallics, which can be a cool addition to your bracelets.

Now, I have a couple of bracelets from Mexico that were made with yarn--the same principles apply to yarn bracelets, though they'll be a little rougher in texture.  You might also want to try some polyester or a nice washable wool yarn (cotton will shrink when it gets wet, so you'll have to experiment with soaking it and seeing how much it shrinks to adjust the size of your project.)

  2. You can find it at many places. JoAnns, Micheals, any craft store. You should probably look for thread like this:

Any type of embroidery thread works well. It can be found fairly inexpensive.

  3. You can get different color string at Michael's. They have a lot of colors to choose from, too.

  4. Embroidery floss  works really well and you can get it in any color ;))) Any craft store.
