  1. We need more info...

do you break strings...?  what do you have now and are you happy with it...?  what are you looking to achieve with your new combo...?

if your not sure about what you want play around...most ppl should not be using hybrids...so make sure your using it for the right reasons and not because it's the trend.  If you don't know which one would better for you to put in the mains then maybe you should rethink a hybrid.  There are thousands of set ups you could do...so as far as a hybrid that's as good as any.

A poly in the mains and a multi in the crosses give you a more durable end result...but feels stiff.

A multi in the mains and a poly in the crosses is more durable than an all poly set up...but not as durable if you have the poly in the mains.  Also...it gives you a softer feel.

  2. in your situation, i'd suggest using the larger string (NXT 16) as mains at 58-60 lbs. the lux for crosses at 53-55 lbs. try it first and see if you like it. otherwise you'd try to use Wilson K Gut 17 as mains at 58 and as crosses at 55 lbs. you can also try single stringing using K Gut 17 at 58 lbs. hope it helps :)

  3. i don't know much about strings but from what all the pros told me the babolot pro hurricane strings are the best.  I heard it even puts more spin on your shots!  I have also heard that any polyester/poly strings are really good.  The hurricane strings are poly.

    Hope to help :-)
