What kind of stuff do you learn in pre-calculus?

I'm taking it in 10th grade, the counselor said it was hard but i love math believe it or not.

It is mostly trigonometry -- sin, cos, tangents

Stuff you need to know for calculus.  I'm going to be taking it this year.  I heard that its sort of like a combination between geometryy and alegra.
