What kind of style should I have for 9th grade?

I have black hair, and I have naturally vibrant green eyes. I don't know which style I should have when I go into 9th grade. I was thinking sort of a retro-modern style, but I don't know. Can you include an outfit (links) to any style you think of.

well u can do a couple different styles like u can have a preppy girly side and wear a&f and hollister like this:

a style that totally reflects YOU as a person. you don't want to walk into high school looking like a robot freshman who looks the same all all her classmates lol. you wanna stand out. in a good way.

wear whatever you want! i think that vintage mixed with modern is a really cool style, but just go for whatever inspires you. one day it could be Alice in Wonderland, the next it could be a magazine page.

I'm going into 9th grade too, and my fashion goals for this year would be to become more open-minded about clothes. My entirecloset would consist of A&F and Hollister. I would look just like everyone else, and I want to look a bit different now.    

I have an older sister who is in the fashion bussiness so I got her to take me shopping and I got a lot of things that I used to say "it's cute, but I would never wear something like that." Be more daring.

If you want to have a retr-modern style, get some pieces from places like H&M, Forever 21, PacSun, etc. You could even incorporate some abercrombie, just not too much. Go thrift shopping or too a store like Marshalls and find the diamonds in the rough. A cool vintage-looking belt. A great sweater. Things like that.

Some things you should incorporate into your wardrobe are:

Graphic Tees

A vest

Sunglasses

Chunky necklaces and bangles

Black jeans

Colored skinny jeans

If you don't already have one, get a polyvore account and start mixing and matching things. Ask for opinions.

Get fashion magazines and pay close atention to what people wear.

Don't try to change your style and wear something you don't like just because somebody else does. Just try to update our style.
