What kind of sub box should i get?

ok i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 ext. cab and i am getting 2 12" kicker cvr i am finding it very hard to find a box... what would you recommend.... also i am getting the 2 12" kicker cvrs (already mentioned) and i have a kicker zx 750.1 will this set up hit hard?

Considering that space is not limited, whereas, you did not mention if you are looking for a custom fit box to fit in your 1500, I'd suggest this box or something like it.

You should look more into reviews about the CVR to see whether they say it's better to have a center divider(seperate chambers) or not. Either way, this box is 2 cubic feet per sub. You can find a cheaper box of the same specs, but a solid box is as easily important as many other small things to consider in your stereo. Quite essential actually!

If you plan to use zx750.1 Kicker amp, be sure to get dual 2 ohm subs. If you used two dual 4 ohm CVR's, your only outcome for wiring is either a 1 ohm load or a 4 ohm load. The zx750 rates the 750 at 2 ohms! Therefore, the reason for the 2 ohm subs, is because it's the only way to wire to your amp at 2 ohms.

Good luck and have fun making the choice on the enclosure. I think a 2.0 - 2.25 vented enclosure will really give you what you want to Hit Hard!

First, yes that set up would hit quite nicely. As far as a box i would start figuring out where you would like to put it and consider building your own box or getting a specialty shop to build you a custom box. They will build the box to fit perfectly in your truck and sound the best. If you really want to get a prefab box then search for truck sub boxes and see what you can get. I use a Q-Logic vented box and I have no complaints (12"s also). ANY vented box will make your subs hit 1.5x as hard, and Kickers are VERY nice subs. Yes, it will hit hard.
