  1. I would say two 10in Rockford Fosgate subs with a Rockford AMP, trust me you wont be disappointed!

  2. check out these sites for subs:

    http://ww.reaudio.com

    http://ww.audiopulse.com

    http://ww.audioque.com

    http://ww.soundsplinter.com

    http://ww.ddaudio.com

    http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com

    http://ww.ficaraudio.com

in most cases you will only need one of any of these...even a 10"

  3. Also would suggest looking into:

    www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/i...

    www.sundownaudio.com

    www.mach5audio.com

    www.incriminatoraudio.com

All make very well built drivers with excellent customer service behind them.

  4. it really depends on how much your willing to spend. if you have bank get two ten inch JL AUDIO 10W6v2 or a Boston Acoustics G5 G5124. if your looking for something cheaper go with MTX TR5512-44 which is a bang for your buck, or even 2 Kicker Comp 07C104 (crutchfield is having BOGO free right now). for amps look into either alpine or  Rockford Fosgate that would fit the subs you want. i would also suggest a new cd deck such as alpine or kenwood to fit your woofer perfectly

  5. depends on how much SPL and rumble do you want. One 12" is the best choice.

    1) you pay for one speaker, not two, so you can buy better quality and more powerful one.

2)you save trunk space, subwoofer weight, amplyfier power.

    3) it goes deeper, it is usually more sensitive, so you don't have to push so many watts to it to make same rumble.

4)forget for " 10"s are better quality". they are not. no reason for it. Only when Manufacturer is fu*ker and puts the same crappy magnet onto larger speaker basket with larger cone...
