What kind of surfboard is best for a beginner?

i m looking to buy a surfboard but idk which one is best for a beginner like me.. surfers plz help!

Well since your a beginner, your gonna want to buy a longer board. When i learned, I learned on a 8 ft board because the longer the board, the more balance you have and its easier to stand up. Now that I'm better at it, I have a 7'6 but since your just a beginner, i'd stick with a longer board for right now. If you don't wanna get to expensive right now, try a foam board.
