Our house has always been lightening prone (I grew up in the home I am now buying) but it seems to be getting worse. We have had 3 satellite receivers burned up. We just got new DVRS Dish receivers and guess what?? Today a minor storm blew through and our DVRs are zapped...both of them!! What kind of surge protector can I get that will protect not only the electric part but the phone line and the satellite? I cannot afford anything terribly expensive. Any idea which surger protector is best value for least amount of $$? Any advice is apprectiated!

  1. Belkin do a good line in surge protectors. There's the Belkin 8 Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with Ethernet/Coaxial Protection.

    8-outlet surge protector with extra-long 12-foot cord

It's the deal solution for computers, laser printers, telephones, and home-theater systems

This bit is the good part  you aslo get the Belkin Lifetime Warranty and $200,000 Connected Equipment Warranty.

There's other Belkin models you could consider, but I thought this one would suit you. Good Luck. I left a link so you can have a good browse.
