What kind of system should i get

im about to get my first system and i want a 12" kicker l5 and im wondering what kind of amp and cd player and stuff i should get to go with it...i want a kicker amp to and either a pioneer or alpine cd player...plz help thanx

I recommend you some JL audio speakers try the W3 or if you want harder bass get some W6 or the top of the line W7

Stick with kicker if you got the money get a Solo X.  They are only about $800 online for the 12" one which would be way more than enough. of course then you would need a monster amp... JL sux

You either did some research, ask some friends, or you had a lucky guess when it comes to cd players(decks). Pioneer is number 1 in my book and next in line is alpine. As far as amps go the zx750.1 might be a little too much power so i would recommend the sx650.1. But honestly man, you might want to at least get the kicker l7 because you are gonna want way more power after a month or so. I ended up settling for two 12 cvr's when i really wanted 2 cvx's and i regret it to this day because i got use to it way too fast. You might want to just save up a lil more money and at least get 1 if not 2 l7's. The new system i will have in a month will be 2 12" kicker l7 with 2 keenwood kac 9104 amps powering 900 watts rms to each sub with kicker ks693 for the 6x9's and apline type r components for the doors with a crunch 1400.4 highs amp and a pioneer head unit and a clarion equalizer.......Talk about raw power. Over 2000 watts of straight power......insane. Hope this helps you out some. Maybe you should look on youtube and see the difference between people with 1 l5 compared to 2 l5's 1 l7 or 2 l7's
