What kind of tape should I use to hang decorations on the wall? ?

What kind of tape should I use to hang decorations on the wall? I do not want the paint to come off when I peel the tape off.... PLEASE HELP...

Duct tape. Assuming you have exposed ducts on the wall and wish to tape the decorations to them. Otherwise, probably clear scotch tape.

You can use the putty stuff or you can get the removable hooks, but I don't know of any tape that will work the way you want it to.  They also make a hook on a fabric that you get wet and stick it on the wall and re-wet it to get it off.  I had my Son use those in his college dorm room.

carpenters tape, its sortof off-white and sometimes comes in blue...

if not use scotch tape since its clear.

They have putty and double sided tape that is meant to come off easily...but after years even the putty will take the paint off.  You're not okay with nails?
