  1. This is a very specialized division of special education which requires you to have regular teaching classes as well as classes to help you teach things that cannot be seen, Braille, keyboarding or typing as well as perhaps the software program that will read what is typed and read it back explaining the questioned input.  I do not know if there is a special name beyond the visually impaired label but these teachers are usually employed at schools or institutions other than regular ones unless there is a large emphasis on mainstreaming in the schools.
