  1. If it moves with meds and a warm bath, it is not dangerous.   Does he have an ear infection or is this a virus?  Might visit doctor to find out.

  2. I just asked this same question to my pediatrician and he said that anything over 104 - you bring the kid in.  Anything below 104, they would ask you how he is acting before they told you to bring him in.  If he is listless, etc, that is a sign of something serious... even if the temperatur is below 104.

    Call your doctor's office!!!

  3. Poor guy!  He needs som tylenol and a trip to the doctor.  If you cannot get him in to see his doctor, he needs to go to an urgent care clinic or other medical facility that can see him.  Also make sure he is drinking plenty of fluids (not just water--pedialyte is a better option)

  4. That is to high for his age. I hope you have been giving him medicine that would break the fever. But it keeps going back up. What  I did with my 22 month daughter because after 2 days of high fever she wouldn't take the Tylenol or Motrin that I was rotating every 4 hours I wrapped her in a cold towel and put a cold towel on her forehead. Believe it or not but it brought that fever down. Tylenol has chewable for kids also. I've had it all I believe I have the sickliest child today. Of course because she goes to daycare I have to expect this and it's helping build her immune system in the long run. Call his doctor they may want to see him. They will ask you if he has had diarrhea. Whatever he has caught is coming out. After the 5th day if he still have a fever take him to the doctor ASAP. Good luck I know its hard seeing your child so helpless and can't do anything to help.

  5. That would be too high. Give him some age appropriate medicine to bring his temperature down, and if it doesn't come down, call the doctor.

  6. That is definitely high, if his Dr. says it's ok, give him Children's Motrin every 6 hrs. and Children's Tylenol in between. Put cool cloths on his body, give him cool/warm baths. And if it still doesn't go down, take him to the Dr.

Edit: I just realized you put it's been there for 2 days, then definitely call his pediatrician.
