i have pcos.since i was 13 i had irregular periods.came after every 2 weeks & lasted another 2 weeks.i finaly went to the docter at 15.they did an ultrasound.it showed the many cysts on both my ovaries.they did some blood test for harmones as well.now i m 26 & trying to conceive with the help of a fertility specialist.i hope u dont have it.but if u do then dont worry,its very common among woman & its not that difficult to conceive with the right docter & medication.pls feel free to ask if u have any other questions regarding this.all the best.

The doctor will make a sonogram of your abdomen to check if you have some cysts. If yes, then they may do an internal sonogram to test if the cysts are simple or not simple. Thats what they did for me.
