I don't have to worry about drugs cuz I don't do them. I don't have to worry about prostate. The ASVAB I'm gonna clean up my math skills. I already know quite a bit about mechanics and electronics and english.

What are some other things you are required to do?

Thanks.

  1. I took the ASVAB in January. It was easy although English is my second language. It's a long test. So please get some rest before you go. It has if I remember correctly 9 sections in language, math, science, mechanics and some other stuff. You can find detailed info at www.about.com

    I wish you well.

MEPS does a full exam for your body, everything you can think of, they test it.

  2. you said about all of it...... studying will not help much...... just be well rested it will be a long day.

  3. They'll do background checks. Get information like: Next of kin, schools attended, etc. Paperwork... and LOT'S of paperwork. If you're looking at a job that requires security clearance, you'll get a security interview and evaluation.  Because of the field I was going into, I had extra physical tests. Eardrum/pressure test for Airborne, and more in depth physical agility checks for Ranger and Pathfinder candidates.

If you've gotten high enough scores in the linguistic areas of the ASVAB, you'll repeatedly be pulled aside for further tests, and invitations to reclassify as an intelligence specialist. (Army)..  Others I remember were simple personality tests, and psychological screening.
