What kind of thermometer do i use if i have and undertank heaater for my leopard gecko?

doesn't matter because your gecko can lay on the heater for heat no matter what. no need to measure air temperature.

I use an Acu-Rite "00891" model (at Wal-Mart for 11.88) and mount it on the cool end of the tank and place the probe directly over the uth so I get both the basking and the general temps. But basically anything with a probe will work.
