It is mostly food items less than 3 oz.  You can't take water bottles through security, but you can buy them in the airport after you pass through the security checkpoint, same with food.

you will find they change what you can take and can't take on a plane, the best thing to do is enquire with the particular airline a few days before you fly, hope this helps, happy holidays.

You can only bring food that you purchase after passing through security. There are some exceptions when traveling with an infant. You would have to check with the airport.
