  1. These are both soft materials.Hardware store drills and taps will work fine.


  2. First,,, you will chip the chrome,,, but standard high speed drill bits will do, a cordless drill should be enough. If you want to connect pipe to it, you will need a special tap, NPT, (national pipe thread.), I would not recommend threading polycarbonate tubing. I have never seen that stuff threaded anywhere but the factory. Please turn the water off first.

  3. Drill bits and taps. If the wall thickness of your pipe isn't at least 1/8 inch I would use self tapping screws.
