What kind of touch screen remote control should I get?

I need a high end universal remote control. I need it to have all the regular stuff (tv, dvd, surround sound, blah blah), but I would like it to have more. I want one with a docking station. It would be nice if it could control my computer too. I would like it to surf the net. Also I would like to be able to check the cameras of my security system from the remote. Does anyone know of any remotes with these functions?

Actually, if you go to the Crestron site, they have several models that have varying amounts of functionality, depending on what you want to spend. http://www.crestron.com/features/applica... is one possiblity. We use crestron controllers commercially and they can be programmed to control just about anything that plugs into the wall. Just check out the web site and you can find what you're looking for.

Remote is one which sends a signal.For instance your TV gets a d.c voltage hits the direct point with which TV  is triggered and it functions. Basic is this.

Now you can not send the DC.Wherever you have your eqpt at home it should be activated.To activate it you must have a remote control through an FM transmitter  .Which trigers your equipment at home, which triggers your others at home, PC.& others.The transmitter sends an FM wave coupled with a dc voltge.So this is the  total design you should have for eqpt usage and control.

Here is an example:There is a great function going on.I was asked to help a zeep unmanned which should be run to please all the public wants to see. I said ok? An , ANPRC Communication trans- receiver.A particular frequency was set.When it was on, the DC VOLTAGE  triggers the switch of ther zeep and as the vehicle already kept in a second gear it started a distance of 2 furlongs.It even can go farther ,

i sent two army guys after  training them . I was told congrats.
