My husband is going to Ireland for business and I want him to bring me back somethings. What kind of things he can bring back for me? I like all kinds of things especially jewlery, vases, art, beer, and things for the house.

  1. Dont worry, there are SEVERAL souvenir shops scattered all over Ireland, little leprechauns, tin whistles, Celtic jewelery, toy sheep lol, he will not be short of selection!

  2. there are some fabulous Irish jewellery, I wear a Celtic cross necklace, but claddagh rings, earrings, necklaces are also very popular. And there are some beautiful ceramics too.

The Guinness market for trinkets is enormous, I don't what you can't get with a Guinness trade mark....but if all else fails a feather boa tricolour could just do the trick, or a inflatable leprechaun, begorrah

  3. Some Irish linen - like a table cloth. Depends what part of Ireland he will be in but they have lovely products in a shop called Avoca.  Or maybe some fabulous Irish poetry framed. Some tourist shops have lovely quotations and Irish sayings in a picture frame with lovely background! Very pretty, again usually woven..

Hope this helps! Tell him to have a lovely time

  4. Woolens, Sweetie.   The first time I went to Ireland, I brought myself back a gorgeous sweater coat from Blarney Woolen Mills: I got so much flack from my friends for not bringing THEM back one, that I made certain to do so on my next trip there  :)

Scarves and hats are more reasonable alternatives.

I also have various Celtic crosses, and an eighteen-carat Claddagh ring (pricey, but something I treasure.)

There's also Belleck and Waterford crystal, too.    Ireland is full of treasures!

  5. He should have no problems finding you things from Ireland. Especially jewelery. Authentic claddagh rings or necklaces and celtic crosses would be my choices!

  6. Irish linen, Waterford Crystal, and the like are all good ideas, but they are distinctive enough as Irish products that you could probably get them outside Ireland.

There is a great local art culture in Ireland, and it is not difficult, in any large town, to find a place that sells works by local artists, small paintings, sculpture and so on. I think something like that would be notably Irish, and also unique and different. Newbridge silver also is a relatively new, but very Irish brand.

  7. ask your husband to buy Newbridge jewellery.he will be able to buy real unique pieces.

  8. Irish linen, Waterford crystal, Barry's tea bags, and Cashel blue cheese.

  9. A real 4 Leaf Clover Maybe
