  1. Mice can be social, but it can be hard once you have had a mouse for awhile to introduce a new one.  So unless he's pretty young, you should probably just not get him a new friend.  i have girl mice that live in groups, but my friend (who has males) will have problems with them getting along later in life, and they have to be separated.

Anything sold in the store for hamsters/gerbils/etc is fine for mice.  Little houses, and tubes, and things they can chew up on are good too.  You can even get balls (Solid ones are best, so they don't chew it into pieces) and some bird-toys.  Just make sure it's made out of non-toxic material, and check on it regularly to make sure it doesn't get chewed/broken to the point you need to remove it.  You can even recycle toilet paper rolls (the cardboard tube, if you don't use scented TP) to them, too.

  2. I've had LOTS of mice in my day & I can tell you that if you get another mouse you will DEFINITELY end up with a ton of baby mice unless you are 100% sure you have 2 males or 2 females.  They breed like crazy & its not fun to take care of the babies.  Aside from a wheel they like to play with (& chew on) empty toilet paper & paper towel rolls.  They also like popsickle sticks, when your done eating the ice cream off them of course.  They enjoy alfalfa hay from the pet store.  You can find it in the rabbit section.  Hope that helps... good luck.

  3. You can give them heaps of things!

Here are some: toilet/paper towel rolls, tree branches, ladders, ropes, egg cartons, cardboard boxes, hammocks, tubes, socks, and lots more. Add multiple levels in the cage to make things more fun and to use the space better.

To make hammocks, just cut a shape out of an old t-shirt and use safety pins to pin it inside their cage. Ladders can be made out of popsicle sticks, or those Chinese chopstick things, or you can go out and buy wooden bird ladders.

Cardboard boxes seem boring by themselves, so cut holes in it and make it more fun.

You can basically make anything for your mouse, as long as it is safe. You'll find that lots of household items can be used, so you don't have to waste money buying toys.

    Have fun with your mouse!

    =)
