  1. I got an activity ring for my grannies budgie.  He loves it, it has a bell and all sorts of things for him to play with.

Here is a link of where I got it: http://www.mutleyandmog.co.uk/bird/aviar...

  2. get a swing for its cage or a small teddy bear my birdy loves it

  3. What ever you do don't put a mirror in the cage because it will think it's another bird and be more interested in that "other" bird.  Mine like soda crackers, not to eat but they break them apart, they also like treat sticks.  One of mine likes to swing on a swing, the other one picks at my magasine when I'm reading.  They all vary but usualy you don't have to spend very much money.

  4. If you want to teach your budgie to speak then don't put a mirror in the cage, as the budgie will think there is another budgie in the cage, and will constantly chirp to itself.  I would suggest getting a little ladder, a bell and a swing.  And perhaps a balancing toy that fits on the perch.

  5. An etch a sketch and a travel scrabble should keep him occupied

  6. A mirror and a bell

  7. Budgies seem to love looking at themselves so get something with a mirror in it.
