I live in SC and there are lots of these trees in my neighborhood.

The tree is dying/leaves turning brown and dropping. I need to know what it is so I can fix it.

  1. Sounds like Azaleas. Lots of water

  2. maybe a plum tree or cherry blossom tree.

  3. I think you would have to post a picture for the most accurate answer, but to me it sounds like a crepe myrtle.

  4. IDK. It could be flowing apple, flowering cherry, flowering plum. My guess, by the description.

  5. you have a kwanzan cherry. check to see if there are tiny holes on the trunk and limbs if you do than you have borers if not you probably have some type of fungus.

  6. Sounds like a member of the Prunus, or flowering cherry, family. It could be desperately short of water and or 'food'.

  7. sounds like a redbud birch... but not sure
