  1. the trees in the stash are young pines that have purposely been bent over. You can put a stake into the ground and then pull a tree down and tie it to it, but that might compromise the tree, rather slowly over time you can work a tree over so it doesn't harm the tree in the long run. The rainbow rides at northstar are super fun, I actually rode there yesterday but the regular park was calling!! Love the up, flat box in the large park, there is no way you can get wrecked on it!

  2. never been to northstar but mt. snow had one but i dnt kno what it was

but i have seen birch in videos (the ones with white bark)

but you sometimes just sees trees bent like tht

  3. dont know but i have a log rail in my back yard that i just cut off a fallen tree and supported with fire wood underneeth it. totally sweet. it takes a half hour of work but it works.

  4. I've never been to Northstar,  but I have hit rainbow trees elsewhere.  They are typically young trees that have been bent over into the snow, usually by avalanche but sometimes on purpose to create the feature.   The top of the tree gets stuck in the snow, but because it is young and flexible, it stays in a bow instead of snapping.
