What kind of tv should i get??

Question

In the near future i am going to be getting a rather larger tv. i have had enough with the one i have, i mean my laptop screen is bigger than my tv is so i was figuring that if i was going to get a new tv i had better go all out and get a good one. now i was planning an LCD because i am a gamer and heard that LCD's are better for gaming never the less i am not the most familiar with it all. i am planning on getting at least a 42 inch so any help that there is would seriously help

if u got the money get a smasung 42" lcd tv their real nice..or if ur lik me get the vizio vx37l (or newer model) for only 750 bux games look great either way
