What kind of underwear should an 11 year old wear?

asked my mom to stop buying me wite undrwhre ans she stil does it. today she came home and she told me to grab a walmart sack. she told me that she thought i could use new undrwhre and then puled them out of the sack and there again they were wite undrwhre. what do i do? I am 11, as my friend pointed it out without me noing, i did not want people to know, so i was lying for a while to say i was13.

Put the ball in her court.  Say "Mom.  Would you be OK with it if I started wearing boxers instead?"  She will probably not care.  If she says no, she will have to ask herself why?  Since there is no real reason to be opposed to the boxers, she will probably say that it is fine for you to switch.  Just WHATEVER YOU DO--don't complain about what she bought you or whine about it.  Trust me--we Moms HATE that and it usually sends us into "lecture" mode.

Where is your dad? Get him, (or another guy you're close to) explain to your mom how you feel.

If there isn't anyone like that, you need to explain to your mom how you feel.  I know that my little cousins started wearing boxers or boxer briefs at that age.

But remember, mom is still mom and even after you explain to her how you feel, it still has to be her desicion because she is the one responsible for you. She won't make you wear white undies forever!

It doesn't really matter because no one is going to be seeing your underwear besides your dresser. Unless the white underwear is causing you pain or discomfort, there's really no reason to change it.
