What kind of underwear wear the rugby players?

As a girl we just wear spandex shorts.

And for the boys (2 brothers play) they wear compression shorts.

lol no i dont think so.

i think most proffesional rugby players either wear swimming trunks (seriously) or some lycra bottoms. Which are a pair of tight lycra shorts that keep you warm. (so useful). Personally i wear a pair of lycra bottoms. They are great as they keep you warm, sorta waterproof and stop your shorts rubbing.

if you wear a jockstrap you'll most likely injure that which you seek to preserve.  that hard plastic cup will crush your poor boys instead of saving them.  

I'm a front row forward which means that  when it comes to the hard physical part of rugby, i've got a front row ticket to the rough stuff.  What i wear is a pair of briefs (good ol' tighty whities) and compression shorts over those.  That keeps los fragiles close, safe, and warm during those rough and tumble games
