What kind of universities can I get into w/ a 2.5 gpa and a 29 on the ACT?

Could anyone give me an idea of what kind of college education I could get with my current grades and test scores? I live in the Chicagoland area and would like to go to school in or around Chicago. I am interested in music and active in a few extracurricular activities (habitat for humanity, tech club, musical theatre). Also, I would like to know more about what colleges offer good music/recording programs.

You could apply to some lower-ranked state universities or smaller liberal arts colleges.  But you'd probably have more of a chance if you started at community college.

Or your could go to a specialized school for music, like Berkelee in Boston or Full Sail in Florida.
