  1. Probation is supervision - did you mean "parole"?

    Not all tests rely on urine toxicology - some use the so-called oral swab.

    Alcohol has a very short half-life in your blood stream, out in a few hours.  The problem is that probation/parole officers aren't supposed to conduct toxicilogy exams on a purely scheduled basis.  Spot checks are common, and in any event are held on a much more frequent basis than onece/monthly.  Some Parole officers are smart, secretly scheduling tests soon after holidays or personal events like birthdays or anniversaries.


  2. unless you've been drinking within 24 hours prior to your urine test I wouldn't worry about it if that is what they are testing for....normally urine tests are for drugs.
